Gift for Christ 2008
The Gift for Christ Offering is a special time of giving that Living Hope has annually to support our international missions efforts. In December, 2007 the Gift for Christ offering received exceeded $140,000 for international missions. From this amount, $20,000 was given to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, which goes to IMB missionaries in the field. The remainder was used to provide scholarships to members of Living Hope who were participating in mission trips and to purchase supplies needed for each trip. Last year, the church sponsored trips to Malawi, Niger, Honduras, Japan, Costa Rica, South Asia, and East Asia. The church also supported members of our church going to Jamaica, Mexico, Honduras, Niger, Nicaragua, West Bank, Canada, and Brazil.
In 2008 the Gift for Christ offering will again go to support the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and trips to Niger, East Asia, Costa Rica, Honduras, South Asia, Japan and Scotland. Please prayerfully consider how you and your family can participate in this very special time of giving.
