Every year, beginning in August, Bible quiz teams are formed of children in Kindergarten-6th grades. A and B League teams study and compete both on the district and state level. Study guides are given and children study at home as well as with their coaches and teammates to learn the required Bible facts and Scripture memory verses. At present our JBQ teams meet on Sunday evenings from 5:30-7:00 to practice their quick responses and learn to work as a team. Parents praise the program as a motivator for children to learn the Bible and grow in Christ while having fun. Living Hope's Junior Bible Quiz Team has won regional and national honors in Bible quiz competitions over the years.
