First Impressions Team

Greeters, Ushers, Welcome Center Staff

The First Impressions Team wants to create a positive impression of warmth and welcome to all who come to Living Hope!

The First Impressions Teams is:
  • A vehicle through which the church can provide to its own people and especially to newcomers, a personal expression of Christian warmth and welcome.
  • A group of people who have the gifts and graces to express social warmth and are willing to commit their time and energy to this ministry.
  • Greeters, ushers and welcome center volunteers who have a “one-another” ministry, with the people they are called to serve.
  • A ministry of volunteers who are kind, friendly, loving, dedicated and committed because their rewards do not depend on reciprocation from the people they encounter, but on the love of the Lord whom they serve.
  • A dedicated, committed group of volunteers who are on the front line, saying what the whole church feels: “We love you, and we are glad you are here.”
