Middle School Ministry
For students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades our Middle School Ministry provides an atmosphere for students to grow in their relationship with Christ and reach out to their lost friends.
We have launched a brand new ministry for 6th graders called "The Bridge". We want to give your 6th grader the best opportunity to learn and grow in their faith:
- Sunday mornings at 9:30 the 6th graders meet in room 317 for an hour of worship, large group teaching, and small group discussion.
- Sunday nights (during the school year) from 5:30 till 7:00 in the new student building, the 6th graders have small groups. These are gender specific, and only for 6th graders. They have the run of the place, and can play XBox 360, Wii, ping-pong, or just hang out in the cafe. After that, they break into small groups and have accountability time.
- Wednesday nights from 6 till 7:30, 6th graders can join in with the 7th through 12th graders for games, free food, worship, and a devotion in the new student building. Wednesday nights are loud and crowded and great for bringing a friend.
7th and 8th graders now have a new room and are on "The Path". Behind the 10/40 Cafe in the main hallway is the Middle School Room:
- Sunday mornings at 9:30 the 7th and 8th graders meet in the new middle school room for an hour of worship, large group teaching, and small group discussion.
- Sunday nights (during the school year) from 5:15 till 7:15 in host homes, the 7th and 8th graders have small groups. These are grade and gender specific. The small groups are the best way for your student to build relationships with peers and hold one another accountable to living Christ-like lives in school. Your student needs to be in a small group!
- Wednesday nights include 6th through 12th graders. This is a mid-week "Status" check for how they are doing. Games, free food, worship, and a devotion create a great opportunity to bring a friend. Wednesday nights are loud and crowded... good times!
Middle School Ministry exists to help middle school students Get to God, Grow in Christ, and Give to Others. This is accomplished through worship, fellowship, discipleship and ministering to others.
